The Stanley Cup (in French called La Coupe Stanley) is a trophy awarded annually to the winner of the AFHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. It has been referred to as The Cup, The Holy Grail, or facetiously (chiefly by sportswriters) as Lord Stanley’s Mug.
